The VGG Hybrid design uses VGG’s patented vertical groove technology, a unique variable face thickness (with the highest CT allowed by The USGA), and a revolutionary new sole that performs off any lie.

The result Is an incredibly versatile Hybrid that is longer, straighter and better.

Straighter Ball Flight

The patented vertical grooves on the face of all VGG metal woods create a gear like effect that helps to minimize slices and hooks. This patented technology conforms to the USGA Rules of Golf.

Easy To Hit

Superior ball contact off all turf conditions including divots. The VGG hybrid is perfect off the tee, from the fairway, out of divots but not recommended for deep rough shots. Or as Erin Kahn says, "the ball goes very high for me".

Explosive Distance

"It's like cheating" Sammy says. The VGG Hybrid is the only hybrid with a CT greater than 220 but still conforming to USGA Rule of Golf causing the ball to jump off the face.

Simply put they are awesome - Longer - Straighter - Better.

Hit it off the turf, off the tee, out of a divot, off hard pan …. You get the idea - you can hit from any lie.

The VGG Hybrid - Change Your Face - Change Your Game.

What The Golf Geeks Say:

The construction consists of the 17-4 investment cast body and a maraging steel cup face.

The face itself is a variable face thickness design, coupled with the plasma welded maraging steel and extended lip on the cup enables the CT on these hybrid woods to achieve USGA limits for face flexure.

The metallurgy for the maraging steel face is unique in the fact VGG possesses multiple patents pertaining to the maraging steel and golf club construction. This enables the VGG hybrid wood faces to average approximately 10μs (CT) higher than maraging steel used by other manufacturers. Thus, VGG's ability to get hybrid wood faces exceeding 240CT where industry average is below 220CT.

The sole of these hybrid woods may appear plain and simple however VGG has really focused on turf interaction with their hybrid woods and sought the perfect 360° sole camber to be versatile from a variety of grasses and turf conditions.
